MPUSD Way and Six Pillars

MPUSD's "Six Pillars" campaign highlights our six pillars of service mindset, commitment to equity, powerful teaching and learning, positive culture, creativity and innovation, and leadership as the lever. We will highlight classified employees and teachers throughout the year.

Superintendent PK Diffenbaugh has been heard around the district sharing the African proverb, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” He is passionate about this sentiment and feels strongly that it represents the MPUSD way. Moreover, it embodies five values MPUSD is committed to:

      • Every person matters
      • Each day counts
      • Learn something new every day
      • Improve with purpose
      • We're better together

MPUSD highlights the values in action by featuring MPUSD staff members and their work. This campaign – The MPUSD Way – is spotlighted each week in the Tuesday MPUSD eNews to all staff.

Your participation is encouraged! Employees will be asked to contribute to The MPUSD Way by sharing and even writing about their colleagues embracing one of the five values. Remember, every person matters and this campaign is inclusive of all MPUSD employees!

As we build our internal communication capacity to reach all employees, we also ask that you post and/or share about The MPUSD Way with those employees who may not have easy access to email or the Internet (e.g., Facilities, Food Services, Maintenance & Ops, Transportation, etc.).
