Transitional Kinder Registration Opens March 1st

Monterey Peninsula Unified School District is currently accepting registrations for its Transitional Kindergarten classes at Foothill Elementary School.Children who will turn 5 between October 2, and December 2, 2013, are eligible to register. Transportation is not provided.
 

A transitional kindergarten is the first year of a two-year kindergarten program that uses a modified kindergarten curriculum appropriate to the needs of younger children, and prepares them to learn kindergarten standards in the second year. After two years, students enter first grade.


Children who do not live in the Foothill attendance areas may apply for a transfer at the Instructional Materials Center, 540 Canyon Del Rey, Del Rey Oaks, CA.

If you would like to get involved in supporting our schools there are a few ways you can participate.

Serve on your school site's School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Council, or Parent Teacher Association!
