Open Enrollment

The annual Open Enrollment period is an opportunity for parents/guardians who live within the Monterey Peninsula School District (MPUSD) boundaries to request to place their child at another MPUSD school other than their school of residence.
There is one application period each school year. This year it is:
Incoming grades K—12 : January 10 through February 10, 2012

MPUSD fills Open Enrollment requests depending on available space and in compliance with California law and School Board policy.
Families living outside MPUSD boundaries that wish to enroll in a MPUSD school must do so through a transfer known as an Inter-District Transfer Request.
Placement for Inter-District students will be made only after MPUSD residents have been placed.
For Open Enrollment and transfer information, please call MPUSD Transfer Department:
(831) 392-3914.

Traffic Flow

In order to ensure the safety of our students, the administration has made a few traffic flow and parking adjustments. Cars must enter only through the lower Walter Colton gate off Via Gayuba and exit only through the upper Toda Vista. In addition there is no parent parking in the staff parking lot outside the office.
There is a map of the traffic flow pattern below.
