URGENT INFORMATION

Dear Parents:
On Friday, April 27,2012 it was reported that an adult male attempted to coerce a 14 year old female into his vehicle, in front of Marina Vista School. 911 was contacted and the Marina Police Department conducted an investigation.
The suspect was identified as Hispanic male approximately 40 years of age, medium skin tone, with some facial hair. The vehicle was described as a small white pickup with tinted windows.
We wanted to inform you that we take your Child’s safety seriously and we are working with the Marina Police Department to ensure your student’s safety. Please discuss this situation with your child and develop a plan in case a similar situation arises.

El Viernes, Abril 27,2012 se reporto que un hombre adulto intento forzar a una mujer de 14 años en su vehículo, frente de la escuela Marina Vista. Se contacto al 911 y el Departamento de Policía llevo a cabo una investigación.
El sospechoso fue identificado como hombre hispano de aproximadamente 40 anos de edad, tono de piel medio, con un poco de vello facial. El vehículo fue descrito como una camioneta blanca pequeña con vidrios polarizados.
Queremos informarle de que tomamos la seguridad de su hijo/a enserio y estamos trabajando con el Departamento de Policía de Marina para garantizar la seguridad de su hijo. Por favor discutir esta situación con sus hijo/as y desarrollar un plan en caso de que una situación similar suceda.
