Monterey Peninsula Unified School District does not carry medical or dental insurance for students injured on school premises while under school jurisdiction or through school-sponsored activities.  Below is information about an approved low cost medical/dental plan for parent consideration.

Below is a letter for parents/guardians to sign and return to their child's school acknowledging that their student's school does not assume responsibility for student injuries but does make a low cost, voluntary purchase student accident/health insurance program available.  The program is arranged and administered by Myers-Stevens & Toohey & Company, Inc., a firm that has specialist in such coverages for 40 years.
