  • NEW ENROLLMENT FOR 2011-2012 IS AVAILABLE AT THE SCHOOL.  Middle and High Schools are open most days this summer. Elementary Schools are closed until July 26th but forms may be picked up at the Transfer Office located at 540 Canyon Del Rey, Monterey.  DATES TO BE POSTED SOON!  

    Once you have completed the forms, please go to your local school to enroll during open office hours. (You may also use the dowloadable forms available on this link or to the right.  To locate your resident school, click here.)  

    TRANSFERS FOR 2011-2012 are only available through Special Circumstance and are closed to all schools located in the city of Monterey.   For Questions, please call: 392-3914.

    Please see the Open Enrollment Guide (below) for other information on out of district transfers and other policies. NOTE:  If you are requesting a special transfer due to an emergency.  They are ONLY approved in the transfer office as they are determined by school space. PLEASE do not ask the school principal to approve a tranfer.  


Enrollment is now conveniently located at your local school. To locate your school, please use the School Locator above.  All records must be translated into English.  

To enroll students for any grade level, please bring the following documents:

  • Birth Certificate--child must be 5 by December 2, 2011
  • Immunization Record--5 year shots must be completed  (Click here for Immunization Requirements ).  TDAP or the DTP booster is required for Grades 7-12.  No Shot, No School.  
  • Proof of residence--utility bill or rent receipt dated within the last 30 days.  Cell phone bills are not acceptable.
  • Students entering grades 10-12 MUST provide a transcript

 

La inscripción para el 2011-2012 comenzará el 1 de abril. Por favor vaya a su escuela residente o escuela de transferencia aprobada (traiga los papeles de la transferencia con usted) a inscribirse. Para registrar a su(s)  niño(s)  por favor traiga la siguiente información:

ü Acta de nacimiento

ü Cartilla de vacunación actualizada

ü Prueba de domicilio: orden de servicio residencial, recibo de servicios públicos (el recibo del teléfono celular no se acepta), recibo de renta que este verificado.  (entre los ultimos 30 dias)

ü Número de seguro social del estudiante (opcional)

ü Nombre y domicilio de la escuela previa

ü Examen físico (los exámenes físicos son requeridos para el primer grado pero recomendamos encarecidamente a los padres a conseguir el examen físico cuando su niño entra al kínder.) Las vacunas deben estar al corriente

El horario de oficina es de 8:00am a 4:00pm, lunes a viernes.  Puede visitar la página electrónica de MPUSD para formularios, ubicación de las escuelas y un mapa para localizar a Servicios Estudiantiles:   www.mpusd.k12.ca.us

Por favor lleve a los estudiantes a la escuela que le pertenece de acuerdo a su residencia para matricularse. Para averiguar qué escuela le pertenece, puede entrar a la página http://www.mpusd.k12.ca.us/districtsite/find_school_map.php

Peticiones para transferencias seguirán localizadas centralmente en el 540 Canyon Del Rey. Las transferencias para el año 2010-2011 están cerradas. Inscripción abierta (Escuela de su elección) para el 2011-2012 comenzara en enero.
