Michael Kwasny: Each Day Counts, Every Person Matters and Improve With Purpose

Embracing every day with a positive mindset, Michael Kwasny turns negative thoughts into positive opportunities to improve with purpose. As an Instructional Leadership Team member and teacher at Crumpton Elementary School, Michael is always excited to implement new strategies or activities learned at trainings or from colleagues. Moreover, Michael eagerly shares ideas learned from these seminars with colleagues.

Heard always saying "We can do it!" and "It is possible!", Michael inspires students and staff to do their very best. “He is always there to support everyone,” said MPUSD nominator Melanie Tanseco. “I believe his attitude highlights one of the center pieces of school success: staff forming bonds with each other, and teachers forming bonds with students. It triggers everyone to achieve their fullest individual potential and strengthens our team.”

Michael is very passionate about teaching and truly cares about his students.  Not only does he create a supportive and caring classroom atmosphere through which he inspires his students to become more confident, motivated, and effective life-long learners while also conquering the subject matter, Michael is a thoughtful and caring leader. He never hesitates and immediately volunteers to lead group activities.

“That’s Michael – always making each and every person and idea matter, and making a positive difference to every single individual in our campus!”, says Melanie.
