Seated Exercise
Enjoy the relaxed pace of seated
exercises, accompanied by music. You will do simple stretching and range
of motion exercises, then continue the work-out with seated active
games.

Memory Support
This three-times a week day program
is specially designed to offer socialization
and mental & physical
stimulation to frail elderly and individuals
with memory loss or
Alzheimer’s.
Activities include arts and crafts, physical fitness, music,
and reminiscing. Classes are taught through the Alzheimer’s Day Care Resource Center
(ADCRC).

Mobility Support
This twice a week day program is
designed for individuals who are post-stroke, coping with Parkinson’s
disease, osteoporosis or rheumatoid arthritis. Instruction focuses on
mobility, self-care, expressive language, and tools for independent
living. Individuals will benefit from the series of exercises led by
occupational and physical
therapists that increase range of motion, strength, and balance.
This program has been taught through the Stroke Handicapped Adult
Rehabilitation Education (SHARE) for the last 26 years, in collaboration
with the
Visiting Nurse Association (VNA).

Savvy Caregiver
This class is designed specifically
for a caregiver of a family member with Alzheimer's Disease and other
dementia.
